Myself and my family stayed in the Loire Valley in France in August 2009 at the Parc de Alicourts and it was fantastic.The holiday had just about everything .Excellent facilities ,spotlessly clean and a fun entertainment team that worked extremely hard.Our two children were 13 and 16 and they made so many friends it was unbelievable this meant that my husband and I could have some free time to go in the gym,cycle,play golf and generally relax .The restaurant and take away catered for every need with a wonderful choice and the supermarket stocked everything. There are endless sporting facilities a lot more than the brochure says .Our children still keep in touch with all the friends they met .The swimming pool and lake are great and we would not hesitate to book again with Thomson Alfresco.The caravan had everything a real home from home experience.We are already booking for this year we are going to Italy this time I am sure a good time will be had by all.If there was one criticism it would be that he Adults could have a little more entertainment on offer once the main show finished at 10.00pm. The teens are well catered for with a Disco each night.If like us you have teenagers then please do not hesitate book it asap and have a bit of you time.
just returned from holland duinrell area very nice, caravan vivaldi very poor described as luxury but infact basic bit grubby the plus side good shower. will not book with thomson alfresco again shame really as reps very nice and helpful. area very nice beaches beautiful.
just returned from sylvamar in south of france great family holiday. Thomson reps were great very friendly and helpful. Their mobile homes were close to shop and swimming pool didnt have far to walk. beach was about 1km from site. Twice we went to the beach and we were not allowed to swim because the waves were very strong. My family and i would go back to this site.
Just returned from Beach Garden in South of France. Caravan nice but not as pictured on Thomson on line site. Location of van terrible. 16 vans very close together and no privacy at all!!
