Family Holidays with Bluestone Wales :

Bluestone Wales says :

How can you please all the family? You can at Bluestone. It’s perfect for short breaks or week long holidays and is packed with activities and adventures. The thrilling Blue Lagoon water park is a great place to start. Or explore the beaches, forests and hills that are all so close at hand. Our Junior Rangers can go on the Off Road Safari, and younger kids can enjoy a Teddy Bears’ Picnic. You can play Badminton in the Landsker sports club, or workout in Wales’ only fully equiped Nautilus One Gymnasium. Our luxury lodges are a home away from home, with fabulous kitchens for family cooking.

Family Breaks says :

In a beautiful part of the country with excellent accommodation and facilities including a super pool, Bluestone is a great choice for a family holiday. Perfect for those that love the outdoors but still appreciate creature comforts, the cottages are well equipped with bed linen and towels provided. One detail we liked is there is very detailed instructions on how to use everything. Bluestone is ten miles from the nearest train station so if you want to go by public transport you’ll need a taxi for the last leg of the journey. The restaurant at Bluestone is excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Since opening, Bluestone has matured into a well run, family friendly getaway that all the family should enjoy. On the minus side it’s not the most accessible location but that is paid back with the wonderful nature and scenery.

Christmas must be wonderful at Bluestone.

Our summer holiday for 2012 was at Bluestone Wales with our three children aged 4, 6 and 9. Having wanted a luxurious holiday park with high quality activities Bluestone was the one that stood out from the crowd and we were definitely impressed with everything on offer both on and off the park. The kids were split between two rangers groups by age and all three enjoyed the schedule of activities that was on offer such as archery and lots of physical activities such as climbing walls, rope climbing and so on, definitely a great way to get children fit and exploring the outdoors for the week. The park is large and with such a wide variety of things to do all over we thought it would be a great idea to hire one of the buggies and it was! They made travelling around so much easier so energy could be better spent on the actual activities. Some activities could be considered expensive but there were vouchers after spending £50 and plenty of other free things to do available so you can easily mix and match to suit a budget.
